  5. Directory Compare is a utility for Windows 95/98/NT which enables you to:
  6. - Compare the contents of two directories
  7. - Copy and move files between the directories or to any other directory
  8. - Delete or rename files
  9. - Open files in their associated application
  10. - Synchronize the contents of the directories
  11. - Get information on the files in the selected directories
  12. - Print listings of the directories or export them to comma-delimited files
  13.  
  14. Files in the selected directories are listed in two side-by-side grids. You can
  15. choose various display filters to limit the listing to files existing in
  16. both directories, files which exist in one directory only, or files in both
  17. directories with a different size or date/time. Once displayed, files can be
  18. easily selected either individually or in groups and then copied, moved or deleted.

  20. To install, just run the SETUP program.

  43. Please note that the shareware version of Directory Compare is a 30-day
  44. evaluation version and will cease to function after this period if it is
  45. not registered.

  47. There are two ways to register: direct payment to me by check or cash, or
  48. credit card ordering through Public Software Library Ltd. (PSL), a leading
  49. distributor of shareware, which can be done online or by fax or mail.
  50. Instructions for credit card ordering may be found below.

  52. For registrations sent to me, the fee is $20.00. Upon receipt of the fee, I
  53. will send you the registration code by E-mail, so be sure to include your
  54. E-mail address. If you don't have one, I will send it by snail mail to your
  55. postal address. When you receive this, start the program and choose
  56. Help/Enter Registration Code on the menu, then enter the code.

  58. Please note that if you are registering for multiple users, you must pay the
  59. registration fee for each user. Contact me by E-mail for information on site
  60. license pricing.
